

Handy facts when using PC/IP network programs.


Library containing PC/IP programs on MIT-BORAX:  /usr/ibm
Loaded command files, ready to TFTP:  /usr/ibm/obj/name.com
Naming conventions:	sname.com     serial line version
			ename.com     Ethernet version
			pname.com     Pronet version
prefix "o" (as in osname.com) is attached to old, reliable versions.
prefix "x" (as in xename.com) is attached to new, experimental versions.
"term" and "onhook" do not have "e", "s", or "p" prefixes.
telnet is named "tn"          "netdev.sys" is found there, too.

Source:  /usr/ibm/srccmd and /usr/ibm/srclib are directories that
contain one directory per command and one directory per protocol.
