Dear AvigoWeather users,

I have added the ability for individual users to add cities to AvigoWeather. Just follow these
steps and you can add any cities you'd like:

1. Download the new AvigoWeather.zip from http://users.snip.net/~briana/TIAvigoPage.html
2. Create a directory named AvigoWeather under C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Queries
    so you'd have C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Queries\AvigoWeather
3. Move all AvigoWeather .IQY files from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Queries to
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Queries\AvigoWeather. These are the WebQuery files and
are named after the city.

To add a new city:
1. Using your Web browser goto http://www.weather.com/weather/us/
Select the state you wish, then select the city you wish. Weather.COM will bring back the
5-day forecast.
2. Cut and Paste the URL of this page into a new file in Notepad. The URL is the entire web
address that shows in the top of your web browser. This URL is all you need for the new
WebQuery file.
3. Save this new notepad file into C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Queries\AvigoWeather
Name the file as the city's name and then .IQY extension. DON'T FORGET TO PUT
THE EXTENSION, because Notepad will default to .TXT. For example you would save
Pittsburgh as Pittsburgh.IQY.
4. Run AvigoWeather.xls, it should find all the new .IQY files provided that you saved them to
\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Queries\AvigoExchange. The new cities should show up in
the drop down.

Drop me a line with any questions.

thanks,
 Brian.
