Welcome to Avigo TAIPEI II (Shareware Version 1.13)

Taipei is by far the most complex application that I have
developed for the Avigo, and is written entirely in assembler
code. The game provides many features that can be selected
from the menu. This includes 'Help' which, even if you are
familiar with the game, you should read carefully in order
to understand how it functions. Options also allow games to
be saved and reloaded at any time so that they can be played
in their saved state or replayed in full.

Although the game has received praise from so many people,
I have taken note of what many have said and as a result I am
re-releasing the application as Taipei II. This now incorporates
much fatser graphics routines as well as many other enhancements.
But the most important new feature is the variety of different
game layouts to choose from. These comprise 'Standard', 'Glyph',
'Arena', 'Pyramid', 'Castle', 'Bridge' and 'The Wall'.

The program is SHAREWARE. Feel free to use or distribute the
unregistered shareware version. However, if you enjoy it and
continue to use it, please register the software.

Note that the unregistered version is just a sample of what
functions are available and is riddled with NAG screens. Only
the registered version includes features such as 'Hint',
'Undo Move', 'Auto Play', 'Replay', 'Save/Load' and the various
game formats etc. When you register, your personalized version
will be unfettered and fully functional. This will also entitle
you to automatic updates.

The program has been tested thoroughly and should be totally bug
free. If you do experience any problems or have any suggestions
for improvement, please let me know. I shall certainly consider
them for future versions. However the program has taken over a
year to develop and, if users are not willing to subscribe
to such effort, there is little incentive to improve existing
programs or to produce more.

Each game is totally unique and it is possible to win them all.
If you don't believe it, the AUTO PLAY option will prove it,
so long as you don't interfere with the game play. Of course,
you'll need to register to get this feature!

Thank you for showing interest. I hope you derive as much pleasure
from playing it as I did from developing it.

The cost of registration is 12.50 sterling. I would prefer this
due to the costs involved in exchanging currency, but $20 US or
equivalent currency is OK. I make no excuses for the cost of
registration. I have worked on the application (on and off) for
18 months and I believe it merely reflects the time and effort
involved. If you would like to register or if you have any ideas
or suggestions, you can contact me at:
