Empire, not wanting to be left standing alone by other sophisticated
programs such as teco, ppl, ingres, basic, etc.
has a shell command which will spawn a shell "below"
empire allowing you to "sub-shell", print your census, read your mail, etc.
then say "bye" and return to Empire ... great huh??!!
