	TODAY PROGRAMS

The today programs are "qotd" and "today".

"Qotd", which stands for quote-of-the-day, prints a quote associated with
today in some way (however abstruse).

"Today", which stands for temporally-oganized-data-and-yuks, describes
interesting facts associated with today; national holidays (in many nations)
and birthdays of famous people are spiced with historic disasters and other,
more humorous references.

To bring these two programs up:

0) Check qotd.c to make sure the definition of qfile is okay (it will probably
be fine if you've gotten GLIB/gpath.c in shape).
1) Say "make qotd" (or fake it if you don't have make).
2) Make sure "qotd.txt" is mode 0400 and "qotd" is mode 4755.
3) Try running "qotd"; if it works put it in your games directory; else goto 0.
4) Check today.c to make sure the definition of dfile is okay (it will probably
be fine if you've gotten ../gamesdef.h in shape).
5) Say "make today" (or fake it if you don't have make).
6) Make sure "dates" is mode 0400 and "today" is mode 4755.
7) Try running "today"; if it works put it in your games directory; else goto 4.
