Accessing the   INFO GLOBE   Information Retrieval System

   MODEM = Osborne Datacom: Bell 103A protocol
   SOFTWARE = AMCALL (Auto MicroCALL Communications Program)

DEFAULT CONFIGURATION for the modem:
   Duplex Mode           ** HALF **
   Signal Rate           300 Baud
   Protocol              X-ON / X-OFF   (1st. choice!)
      OR                 ***  NULL  ***   (NO error check!)
   Uart Mode             8 bits, NO parity, 1 Stop bit
   Filename              b:Infoglob.fil   (OR, b:any filename)
   Screen Switch         ** ON **

NOTE Th Auto-Dia featur doe no wor wit th Datapa 
       (Canada) telecommunication network.  Dial  868 - 4000 

NOTE:  It is recommended that you use a modular plug and duplex
       modular jack (splitter and cord) to dial manually!

Follow th AMCAL̠program' instructions. Once you make a
connection, carry out these instructions step-by-step:

(msg:)-------->   "Connection Established - Begin Communications"
(yotype:)---  <ESCҠ  (press theESC-ke,thenthe R-ke)
                                 to begin buffer logging.      
(msg:)--------  *** READY TO RECEIVE FILE ***
(then type:)-->   period (.)   and hit the RETURN key.
(msg:)-------->   DATAPAC: nnnn nnnn
(then type:)-->   normal Datapac SIGN-ON  (e.g.: 39500032,i)
                  and hit the RETURN key.
(msg:)-------->   DATAPAC: call connected
(then type:)-->   normal Info Globe SIGN-ON using your PASSWORD,   
                  and hit the RETURN key:  aaann/PASSWORD
                  "MARKETSCAN: aaann/PASSWORD/MKT.

At this point you will establish contact with Info Globe and can
now proceed with whatever searches or information retrievals you

       the END of each page, the System will PAUSE - hit the
       RETURN key t continue t th NEX page, until the END.

Upon completion of allsearche/retrievaldo the following:

Now that you are finished, disconnec you mode jack-connecto.

onto a printer using ** WordStar **.  Using the ** MERGE-PRINT **
under WordStar will give you multiple copies.
