
SUPPORTED PLATFORMS

Windows 3.x, Windows 95, and Windows NT 3.5x

Note:  The installation program aborts installation if the 
       Windows NT 4.x operating system is detected.


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE:  It is recommended that all open applications be 
       closed before installation of TI Logic CD.

On Windows 3.x and Windows NT 3.5x

1.  From Program Manager, select File->Run
2.  Type <CDROM-DRIVE>\ticd.exe      
         where <CDROM-DRIVE> is the drive letter of 
         your CD ROM containing the TI Logic CD.
3.  Click on OK button.
4.  Follow the installation instructions.

Windows 95

1.  From the Start menu, select Run
2.  Type <CDROM-DRIVE>\ticd.exe      
         where <CDROM-DRIVE> is the drive letter of 
         your CD ROM containing the TI Logic CD.
3.  Click on the OK button.
4.  Follow the installation instructions.


MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

The TI Logic CD has the following "minimum" system requirements.  
These system requirements reflect the memory requirements of all 
related applications executing at the same time (TI Logic CD, Adobe 
Acrobat Reader v3.0, Vendor Cross Reference, and Bus Logic 
Selection Guide).

   386 PC
   9 MB free disk space (typical install)
   16.5 MB free disk space (for performance install)
   16 MB RAM 
   CD-ROM reader (ISO-9660 compliant)

Note:  The "performance install" loads more required system 
       files to your hard drive to improve application 
       performance.


TROUBLESHOOTING

Error:     General protection fault in module SIT.DLL at xxx:xxx.

Solution:  The CD containing the support information for the 
           TI Logic application was not found.  Insert the 
           TI Logic CD into the CD ROM drive and launch the 
           application again.

Error:     When installing the TI Logic application, you may receive 
           a message:  <filename> in use.

Solution:  Click on "Ignore" and continue the installation process.
