The availability of cores productized as LogiCOREs, AllianceCOREs, or Reference Designs will depend on market demand. The cores that are already released or in pipeline for release are coded to show the type of core.

The LogiCORE PCI Interface is the only PCI core in the industry that is pre-implemented and fully verified. Xilinx has already completed necessary tuning and floorplanning of the core so that you know that the core will meet the challenging PCI spec every time the design is compiled. You can focus your time and resources on the system level design and your unique back-end application. For a high-performance application such as PCI, this can cut your development by 6 months or more!
