AppLINX CD-ROM Information

The AppLINX CD-ROM provides Xilinx customers with a complete collection of support data in electronic form, complementing the Xilinx Development System CD-ROMs. AppLINX contains the entire Xilinx web site, bulletin board, data book, development system documentation, and other files, all gathered for easy access.

Navigation Tools

Acrobat

You may use the Adobe Acrobat reader, available on the CD-ROM, to find the information you need, starting with \APPLINX.PDF. Acrobat version 3.0 on the AppLINX CD includes search capability across the entire CD. Custom navigation pages have been created for Acrobat users. Text in white indicates a link. Acrobat also includes a Weblink plug-in that allows it to invoke your HTML browser. Links that require such a setup are indicated with the following symbol:

You have the option to use an HTML browser (not included) to navigate through the AppLINX CD-ROM. After opening your HTML browser, select File - Open File... (Navigator^TM) or File - Open - Open File... (Explorer^TM) and then navigate to the \APPLINX.HTM file on the root of the AppLINX CD-ROM. Most links will work even without an Internet connection. Links that do require an Internet connection are indicated with the following symbol:

Receiving AppLINX Directly

AppLINX is sent directly to our registered user's list. If someone else at your company is the registered user, let us know your address so that we can send AppLINX directly to you. See the response form for the required information.
