The Xilinx Alliance Series is for users who want powerful design implementation tools that integrate into their existing EDA environments and methodologies. With this series, designers can choose from a wide range of design techniques including schematic capture, synthesis and PLD-based design from over 50 EDA vendors. With standards based design interfaces including EDIF, ABEL, Verilog and VHDL this series provides maximum flexibility, portability and design reuse.
EDA vendors are supported through the Xilinx Alliance. This program enables the vendors to work closely with Xilinx to insure tool compatiblity and high quality results. Advanced integration with leading vendors including Cadence, Mentor, Orcad, Synopsys, Viewlogic, and VeriBest, Inc. provide tightly coupled environments that make it easy to move through the design process.

Viewlogic design tools can be purchased directly from Xilinx to provide the integration of a complete solution and the convenience of a single supplier. These products include Viewlogic schematic capture, simulation and synthesis tools and Xilinx XACTstep implementation software in a tightly integrated environment.
