Software Solutions Overview

XACTstep Software Solutions are available in three different product series making it easy for designers to choose the right solution for their needs. All three series support the industry's broadest array of programmable logic IC families. This allows users to standardize on a consistent set of design tools for all programmable logic applications and use these tools to help find the optimal IC solution. It also makes it easy to migrate designs to new technologies and re-use existing designs in new applications.

The Foundation Series provides designers with a complete, shrink-wrapped solution for programmable logic design.

The Alliance Series is for designers who want to integrate programmable logic designs into their existing EDA tool environment.

The System Level Integration (SLI) options provide additional software products and technologies that enable designers to build complex, system-level applications with Xilinx programmable logic.
