Problem Title:
XSI 5.2.1 Libraries Analyzed for Synopsys 3.3b, 3.4a, 3.4b, & 3.5a
Problem Description:
Some customers may be unable to re-compile
the DesignWare Libraries and Simulation libraires.
This can be caused by not setting the $DS401 or
$SYNOPSYS variables. This can also be caused
if the network connection to $SYNOPSYS is bad.
If the user is not root when the attempt to do this is
made, this may also cause the user not to be able to
compile the DesignWare/Simulation libraries.
The latest version of the XSI DesignWare and Simulation
libraries have been compiled for Synopsys 3.3b and
Synopsys 3.4b. These recompiled libraries are available
as tar'd, and compressed files on the
Xilinx FTP site(ftp.xilinx.com) via anonymous ftp.
The files are located in:
/pub/swhelp/synopsys
The files are called:
xsi521.synopsys33b.tar.Z
xsi521.synopsys34a.tar.Z
xsi521.synopsys34b.tar.Z
xsi521.synopsys35a.tar.Z
Note these precompiled libraries can be used with XSI 5.2.0, but
the user will be unable to do XC4000e designs. If you want to
do a XC4000e design and you have XSI 5.2.0, then the user should
upgrade to XSI 5.2.1.
There are README files in each of the above files
which show how to install the re-analyzed files
