Problem Title:
M1: QuickSim/DVE cross-probing does not work under Solaris


Problem Description:
The cross-probing process allows a post-route simprim model (which is
different from the original schematic) to be simulated in QuickSim, while
simulation results are annotated onto the original schematic in DVE.
QuickSim and DVE run concurrently and exchange information through an
interprocess communication.

Xilinx has observed that cross-probing does not work reliably under the
Solaris operating system.  One symptom of this problem is that a net
selected in your original schematic within DVE will not be selected or
traced in QuickSim.


Solution 1:

No solution currently exists.  Mentor Graphics is currently working on
resolving this problem.
