LogiCore

LogiCores are system-level logic functions from Xilinx and our Alliance partners. These drop-in modules come predesigned and extensively preverified to reduce development time, cost and risk.
Communications Systems
Xilinx is an established supplier to the worldwide communications industry, providing high-performance programmable logic for data communications and telecommunications systems. These rapidly evolving markets are characterized by changing standards, last-minute design iterations and unrelenting pressure to design and produce products quickly.

Reconfigurable Architectures on DemandTM(RADD)
RADD covers a broad range of products summarized as those utilizing an SRAM FPGA's reconfigurability feature in an "in-system, dynamic manner." This allows the programmable logic device to provide numerous functions through reconfiguration.
RADD's main benefits are several orders of magnitude of performance increase (over conventional DSPs or microprocessors) and a dramatic gate count/cost decrease since the FPGA gates can be reconfigured in real-time.
